The LONN800B portable density meter measures the density and concentration of your sample and is characterized by the highest level of user-friendliness. Its robust and lightweight design enables on-site operation in a wide range of work environments. The meter performs automatic temperature compensation and delivers the result within seconds. In addition to pre-installed density/concentration tables, you can add up to custom functions to the list of measuring units. The LONN800B also features a clear view of the measuring cell through a large back-lit inspection window. The user interface is clearly arranged so that you can easily find your way through the menu. The large back-lit display shows the results in large easy-to-read digits. The function keys enable the operation of the instrument - even while wearing protective gloves.

- Q1: What liquids and industries can this tester measure?
- A: It supports 10 built-in liquid modes: ethanol, ammonia water, urea, methanol, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, ethylene glycol, Brix sucrose, hydrogen peroxide. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, lithium battery electrolyte, ammonia synthesis, desulfurization industries, also applicable to laboratory daily testing and production line on-site inspection.
- Q2: Does the instrument require external power supply? How long is the battery life?
- A: Built-in 3.7V rechargeable lithium battery, no external power required. Auto power-off function saves power. If used 3-4 hours daily for routine inspection, it can work continuously for 5-7 days. Low battery prompt will pop up when power runs low, charge via USB cable.
- Q3: Can it test strong acid & alkali corrosive liquid? How to choose probe material?
- A: Standard 316L stainless steel probe fits low-concentration acid and alkali. For high-concentration sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, caustic soda, hydrogen peroxide and other strong corrosive medium, custom Hastelloy or zirconium probe is available. You can check the liquid-material compatibility table for proper selection.
- Q4: How to fix unstable jumping values during measurement?
- 1.Clean dirt and sticky residues on tuning fork with alcohol cotton swabs; 2.Move the instrument away from strong vibration sources such as high-power inverters and motors; 3.Increase Damping parameter in menu to stabilize fluctuating data; 4.Make sure the tuning fork is fully submerged without large bubbles; 5.If the fork body is corroded or deformed, return to factory for maintenance.
- Q5: Can it measure mixed multi-component liquids?
- A: Only single pure liquid matching the built-in program can get accurate readings. Mixed liquid without corresponding conversion formula will produce large measuring error, not recommended for mixed medium testing.
